I Love LA

Jun 12th, 2007 | By Joe McDonald | Category: NYSR Blog

LOS ANGELES - Taking time from our busy Vegas trip, Joe Pietaro and I took the 4 hour ride to LA today to cover the Mets at Dodger Stadium.

This is what Shea should have been. A lovely, nice place to watch baseball, which has been transformed to what it looked like all the way back in ‘62.

Before the game, we met Jason Bateman on the field with former Met Todd Zeile. Nice guy Bateman spoke with us for a few minutes on our opinions of the new ballparks in NY. [Which is Citi Field good, New Yankee bad].

Unfortunately, the Mets are down 4-1 in the seventh and will probably lose their fourth straight. And Hong-Chih Kuo hit a homer off John Maine and flipped the bat. But those are the breaks.

Overall though NYS fully recomends Dodger Stadium to any baseball trip.
