It's funny how a weak penalty call and another penalty put Dubinsky in the doghouse yet Michael Rozsival is forever giving the puck away or not skating for the puck into the corners yet he is rewarded with a contract he didn't deserve.

This is why Tom Renney is who he is, a putz.

I agree with these sentiments -- I was just thinking that Avery brings a certain 'tude to the team that wasn't evident in teams prior -- and Jagr, what else can I say about him? He's just a proven winner and has many years left in him (at least I'd like to think).

Each team has at least one advantage, Penguins(offense) and Rangers (goalie), and I think their strengths against each other will make it a 7 game series. Want to talk more about the Rangers...I'm always around here: http://iamaranger.rangers.nhl.com/NathanSmittie

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!

It makes no sense to sit Sjostrom to play Orr unless Laraque plays for Pitt and starts throwing his weight around. Hollweg, Avery, Callahan, and Dubinsky can throw body checks very well but the only real fighter the Rangers have is Orr. Laraque played in all 4 games against Ottawa but he didn't take any fighting penalties. In fact, he didn't take any penalties at all.
