FLUSHING, NY – Maybe for sanity reasons, the 8-2 Met drubbing of the Seattle Mariners was a welcome and needed event. Sure, you get your laughers every once in a while, but this season those easy wins just seem to be few and far between.



Mets Select Steven Register in Rule V Draft

They held the Rule V Draft today and the Mets took AA closer Steven Register from the Rockies system
Going to be 25 next season, Register went 1-3 with 37 saves and a 4.03 ERA last season in 61 games.
